Not sure if any here on this forum has found the optimum set with these brakes. As stated above i now have stainless discs and using SBS pads which are apparently designed for stainless discs. They're not bad but still no where near what you get from a more modern set up. I think one definite improvement you need to make which i will be doing in the next few weeks is fitting braided hoses.
I also have all the parts to upgrade to 4 piston Brembos - you can get ready made adapter brackets from Bevelheavan. Thats for fitting 40mm mounting Brembo calipers to fork legs that have the old F08 Brembo mounts with 280 or 300mm discs.
Cheers

Hi Clive,

I have currently got a spare Oscam 16" front wheel if you want the discs off it.

Give me a call, I live on the Kapiti Coast 027 297 1860 and we can talk turkey ok?

p.s. you dont work in the main hangar at Harewood do you?

Sorry I forgot to mention that. Fitting braided hoses was the first thing changed on the 750. The 906 already has it. So on that corner is no improvement possible. Has to be pads , discs, break pump (?) or a combination of them. Doesen't need to be a two finger brake but any improvment would be welcome.
I already asked myself whether a oder newer Pump (four pistons) would improve the Performance. But I'm not sure whether this works...?
