What about the situation, when the bike is not on the mainstand? When the suspension is compressed, like when you are going round corners knee on the street?
on the original setup its designed for the chain not to rub on the swingarm at max compression, I think you definitely need to lower the engine at the rear and protect swingarm with some nylon pad and chek it after a ride...someone must have a pic where front sprocket should be in relation to swingarm pivot...not only horizontal alignment is important, but also distance to pivot, the closer the better (closer= suspension movement has less affect on chain shifting in relation to pivot...further apart, the same suspension movement can double or triple chain movement, again in relation to pivot)
PS: a very rough measurement, guessing the sprocket centre is behind cover, 7cm back and 1.5cm down in relation to swingarm pivot

I need pictures.... & in the moment i cannot think of a way to lower the engine. Again, i would need some adapter-brackets. But there is no space...

Look at these pictures from the Paso-swingarm!
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... SS:DE:1123
It has the same wear as mine.
Especially in this picture:

I think you all should inspect your swingarms, soon.

Btw, this is NOT 907IE swingarm, like seller tells, it is from 750 or 906. It is little funny, that they dont know what they try to sell. Maybe seller have heard, that 907 swingarm fits well to 17" conversion
