Great but not enough

Hi guys i take my bike from the mechanic and she run great :lick: :lick: she seems another bike!!!
i put on 150 main jet and bmc open filters on my mikuni............
the prblem is that around 5500 gm there is a sort of hole, as too much fuel ,and then she opens great...
mechanic says to me that is no airboxes the cause,what i can do??
in the next two weeks i have to do another carburation for the new exhaust,and i want to solve this problem.....

Try to lower the needle one notch to lean it out in the mid range. The air box isn't critical and the engine will rune very well without it.
