Tires for good old europe...?!

Post by helge-seins »

Hello from good old europe... :D

Please don`t laught. But for my second baby i want a new set of tires in the original dimensions (16"). Some of the fellows in here wrote that some dealers in the U.S. have some "new" tire sets. But nobody want them to ship oversea. :screwy:
Did somebody know about a tire dealer who may ship them for less money ?! :ugh:

Many thanks for helping me !

Helge, have you looked around at all?
I looked in the internet and found some on the first site I opened (motorradreifen.de). If you can`t find them in the internet (?!) ask your Ducdealer. At least mine mostly knows where to get some.

Poah.... many thanks G. (heisst das G-Punkt ?!)

Warum schreibst Du Englisch ?!
Why did you write in english ?! :toofar:

I try to get some of these tires. My Duc Dealer wants to sell NEW Ducati Bikes. An Ducati driver like me isn`t welcome. He can`t help me with my tire problem.

And i see that i have to learn to search in the internet for something.

Many thanks "750PASO" ! :D

Gerhard,
how does go the bike with 2 in 1 Conti?
I've found a one and I'm guessing about the buy.

If you 're in order to switch to 2-1, take carerful storing for your stock 2-2! You'll hardly neeeeed it for "historical-interest vintage bike" certification!
I got some trouble with my dukess to get it!
have a nice ride, Nicola

Unfortunately, my stock mufflers are hardly rusted and holed  .
Luckily, I have already got a couple of black stock exhaust and a couple of silver stock exhaust :D .

I have a 2in1 Conti but never tried it. My bike came with a 2in1 Gio.Ca.Moto and that worked very good, specially in combination with the Mikunis. But unlike Antti I`m no person who rides the bike hard. Due to the larger header diameter it should give a little bit more mid and high torque.
now I`m back to a 2in2 Conti but that`s mainly for the look and sound.

Thanks Gerhard,
By the movie, the exhaust seemed to me a Conti one and really it look very similar to your Gio.Ca.Moto.
Antti, told the 2 in 1 exhaust got some trouble, but I like very much its look.
P.S. I also am I still rider...
