both front and rear brakes actuate via pressure switches , both are available thru ducati dealers the rear mounts directly onto the rear master cylinder. the front switch mounts to the mainifold between where the brake line from the master cylinder splits into the two lines that go to each front caliper. changing is easy bleeding the brakes is sometimes a different story. see other posts for bleeding details. if you want to make sure its the pressure switches then get a piece of wire and pull the two wires off the switch and insert wire between both contacts and turn on your key..... brake light should be on now remove wire ......light should go out. good luck
