Re: Dyno performance chip
utter, utter, utter crap.
they have 3 products that claim all boost HP by 10 - 25 % but manage to lower "gas" consumption at the same time....f$%^&*ing remarkable!!!! I wonder if I fit all three devices if I can DOUBLE my HP and HALF my fuel consumption???
the 907ie is "open circuit" EFI and doesn't have an O2 sensor, so we're not really able to fit this amazing gem of technology to our poor, ancient, ailing machines...what a pity...
the funny part is that all the device does (as it states) is cuts out the "rich" signal to the ECU...so you can pump more juice into a standard engine...so you could get a HP increase - similar to putting "performance" resistors into the exhaust. The emissions are uncontrolled - but if you're a petrol-head, who cares??? I can imagine that some vehicles (cars included) might get a HP improvement by side-stepping the emission control devices.
The seller has a "no returns" policy and also sells wart remover; so they're not exactly what I'd call a reliable tech supplier with good tech support. If you read the ebay feed-back comments there are a lot of complaints and tech issues.
...pass.
