My thoughts:
Aren`t they kinda slippery?
And soon develop scuff marks?

they are kinda slippery, but they were on the bike a long time and still look good. carbon fiber is pretty durable.
definitely not the right item for every rider, but someone out there has to be looking for something unique.
they're easy to install, require no modification to the bike and can be easily changed back out.
