I got it out & it started fine reved & idled fine, turn her off went inside came back 10 minutes later it started again but seemed to be only running on one & started back firering then died Now wont start at all, Except for the od back fire. I've checked for spark it seem OK, Plugs are wet so think its getting fuel.

If sometimes running one one cyl, wires to ignition modules are one place to check.

I have had one time in my 907 quite similar problems and at end it was broken spark plug wire. I changed same time both wires and that fixed my bike.

how do the plugs look like?
dirty black?
wet?
full of oil?
light gray?
A light gray plug means NO FUEL
a black one means too mutch fuel (clean and try again)
a wet one means no spark
have a nice ride, Nicola

Hi All
Progess has been made. Start U bastard din't work thus indicating lack of spark. replaced plugs with what ever I had it starts but runs like shit. the old plugs where only 100ks old apparently Ducati's don't like premium plugs, they must of denn failing under load. Now I will get some ew plugs & a carbie kit & see what happens from there.
thanks U all for all of your help the sarga is not over. The pitty is that before this it was a joy to ride & own for over 8 years 2 in England were i got it.as well as there are only a hand full in Aus.
Cheers Lionel
