Hi guys.
I took off my fuel tank and the fuel lines.
On putting it back, I installed the fuel feed from the tank (forward most) and the return flow line (second back) and the small breather hose (third back) but I have a fourth line out (furthest back) that is not shown in the workshop manual and I cannot find where it connects. The line is about a foot long and larger in diameter than the breather (like the primary fuel lines). Have any idea?
Thanks

Re: gas tank hoses?
there is a drain (probably supposed to re-direct rain water) from the underside of the fuel cap recess...if you lift the fuel cap you will see the drain hole in the rim.
I would have thought the cap seal would keep water out??? well, it would have - except now there's a hole to let water in...
the male fitting on the underside of the fuel filler rim is quite small and the hose tends to fall off...the hose should connect under the rim to the lower outlet. if the internal hose is not fitted a lot of water will go straight into the tank if the bike is left in the rain...
the underside of the tank is not necessary to put a line on
funny - Ducati would have been better to put a removable plug under the tank to drain the collected rust and crap...but no; we ended up with this non-functioning silly thing...

Re: gas tank hoses?
I was having a similar problem with those hoses and your reply just helped me take care of it. Thanks!
