Torello,
Changing to 17" on the Sport is very easy in the back. Just get the complete wheel from a SS or Monster. Get everything, sprocket holder, spacers, disc, caliper and holder. Slide the whole business into the swingarm, tighten it up, and go for a ride.

The front is same as changing for the Paso, which means there is a more work. You need to get the brake caliper adapters to put the newer calipers onto your forks, and adapt a speedo drive. An easier/ better way is to just buy a complete front end from an SS or Monster. Wheel, brakes, forks, fender, triple clamps, and bars. It will fit right into your frame and you are good to go.

You may as well sell those rims with the tires, as you will never need them again.

Can you measure the diameter of those tires you have? Since those tires are in pretty good shape, they should be very close to stock. there is another thread here that is looking for replacement 16" tires and there is some discussion about how tall the original tires are.

Cheers,
