Post by jayh »

Anyone know of a source other than ducati for the two oil seals in the crankcase for the rear swingarm spindle,I've got a couple on back order but i'm getting sick of waiting for them, they are holding up the restoration and the show must go on! :rimshot:

I live in an agricultural distict with many bearing / seal distributors locally, no luck ,they are an odd size guzzitech, not available as a standard TC type seal, had I noticed the odd color of them before I prised them out I would have thought twice about replacing them as they weren't leaking and the spindle doesn't rotate inside them so there is not much chance of them wearing, but I suppose it's best to do them. 23 years of age they might be starting to perish a bit.
