Paso's in Canada??
I live in British Columbia, Canada where we have a government run insurance company. It is great as it ensures we pay higher rates, have none of that capitalist style competition and it provides us with great stability in the knowledge that if we ever get rid of the bozzo's running the organization the severance packages will force us to close down hospitals and universities....but I digress....the real point here is that with a total production run of about 2300, my 1992 907ie should qualify for collectors' plates. This greatly reduces the insurance rip off I am otherwise faced as we do not have any discount for multiple vehicles even though I can only use one at a time. In fact with collectors plates I would be able to use the same plate on multiple collector bikes, as it should be. This got me wondering if anyone in this area has tried to get collector plates on their 907's. That thought got me further wondering how many 907 and Paso owners there are in this area and in Canada. My understanding is that the 907 was never actually sold by dealers in Canada. I know mine has a MPH speedo, indicating US heritage (which I try not to hold against it). Just curious.
Cheers,
Randy

I'm sure some of us here at the forum have a Kph dash face available for easy conversion - I myself do not have one, being in California

Actually, of my bikes, only the Harley has a KPH speedo, and I just put that on last year. The others all came from the States. The Aermacchi is rare and I have never seen one up here except in a museum (bought in Helena, Montana), the CBX came from Medford, Oregon and although I did buy the GB500 in Vancouver, it is a US import as they never sold them in Canada.
Cheers,

Re: Paso's in Canada??
If you decide you do want one, I have a brand new KPH speedo. Not the whole dash, just the speedo assy. It's not hard to swap out; the hardest part is taking all the bodywork off and pulling the dash assembly. I'd happily send it your way for fifty bucks including shipping, if that seems fair.
