Another dash related issue

Has anyone taken their odometer apart?

Mine started working intermittently so I suspect one of the plastic gears broke.
I've seen places that fix this in the US but this bike is in Germany,
so I'm considering taking it apart.

Anything to watch out for / not break something else?

intermitent issues are not likely to be internal to the speedo, more likely a cable, drive or receiver issue  If in fact it proves to be internal be very careful and good luck finding parts aside from a spare speedo  Get your cluster installed properly and check that cable then go from there :?:

When it works it does one full rotation then stops again. Starts working when I hit a bump.

The trip meter works consistently so I'm inclined to think it's a gear.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I found it.
The dash holding rubber/screws you should purchase somewhere else. I paid much too much for them.
The fairing stay rubbers i got as well. You got a PM.
