Hi,
I just recognized, that i need a new swingarm for my 907
Has someone a spare?
I think mine is rubbish... You can already see the steel of the bearing shining through.
This situation makes me very sad, and i hope someone can help me...
Maybe we can make a deal, i have a new US-taillight (complete) and other rare parts. Or cash...
Thanks,
Johannes

I have a brand new one tucked away under my work bench. They are still available and I am sure I can get one for you here, but of course, there is the shipping cost.
May make it unobtainable.

Would you pleeeeease ask how much the swingarm costs?
The one in ebay looks not nice to me, but could be a fallback-solution .

I gave it to the workshop for welding today. And it is a really good workshop:
http://mmkiel.de/
They say it it is NOT easy to weld it, because the wear is so high, that the bearings have been worn, so there are real holes. They have to remove the needle bearings, weld it from the outside and rework the hole for the bearings from the inside.
It won`t be cheap, but i let the swingarm ther for repair... Next week i can get it.
But if someone has a new one, i am still interested.

I will make some enquiries here and give you a total cost including shipping to Germany.
I am happy to do this and send to you at cost....ie no cost to me. Cost will be in Aus $.
Cheers.

Another question.
In this picture, you can see steel shining through.

- swingarm.jpg (104.04 KiB) Viewed 6157 times
In the parts catalogue, i can`t find a bushing around the needle bearings.

- SA-Bearing.jpg (34.71 KiB) Viewed 6157 times
Is it part of the swingarm?
Then i have to inform, the welding guys immediately...

Just met the welding guy.
He is nearly ready.

The steel you see is part of the bearing.

Looks like the left lower side of the swingarm (chain drive side), slack chain???
