someone will buy that cover for lots of money, keep it for years and put it up on ebay again.
Wanna bet ? Try to find the clutch piston for that cover. The piston is 31mm, the Paso`s is 26mm, the F1`s 28mm and aftermarket slave cylinders for newer Ducati models vary from 28-30mm.

i thought all the clutch covers were the same??

it just covers the dry clutch mech?

my 907 has a silver aluminum cover, somewhere somehow it has an unsightly gouge in it, i would like to replace it eventually with a modern carbonfiber or open type aluminum one, and i thought most of them fit??

thanks

no.
You have a 907ie with the clutch piston on the left engine side so you can use just any cover or even run it w/o one.

The F1, 750S, Paso750 etc have the clutch piston in the cover. The covers from the models mentioned look the same but use different size pistons.
