Hello all:
I am looking at a used 1995 Ducati 900SS/CR. I test drove it, but didn't really go fast or drive it hard. It sounds very well, and rides well too. It has some custom stuff such as a corbin seat, and exhausts. But other than that it's pretty much stock. it has about 13k miles on it and the guy is asking USDollar 3,700 for it. It has a stiff accelerator and a very dry clutch.
Does anyone think it's a good deal and why (or why not)?
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

This model of the SS is an excellent bike with thousands of parts for upgrades.
The throttle calbe probably needs lubrication and the clutch is dry. I don't know what you mean by very dry. Are you referring to the "rattle" coming from it?? This is normal and is part of the Duc charm.
$3700 sounds like a good price for a complete running bike. Has it been down and how is the bodywork? Has it been to the dealer for a valve adjustment and belt change recently? Does he have the receipts?
The valev adjust and belts will set you back about $400 so figure that into the price.
