Need Air Sensors

Post by Fast Eddie »

My 907ie is finally getting repaired and the mechanic says its running very rich. Two possibilities are clogged injectors or bad air sensors. So, does anybody have any extra absolute air pressure sensor and a air mass sensor that I could borrow or buy? Or, where I could buy ones that would work? Good news is the ECU checked out OK. Hopefully all will be well soon. The injectors are being cleaned soon so that can be eliminated.

Saw some recently on ebay.
You should be able to find them at a Guzzi shop

Saw some brand new old stock injectors not too long ago, wish I'd grabbed them :banghead:

Could also be a faulty water temperature sensor. These are a well known failure point on the ST2/4 and it looks like the same part on the 907. If it doesn't respond to the increase on coolant temperature the ECU thinks the engine is still cold and provides a correspondingly rich mixture. The sensor is the same as the 1.2 Fiat Punto and costs very little from motor parts shops.
