yeah ,I've got one too.

600 pantah base motor
750 paso transmission
650 pantah barrels
modified to lower compression tt2 pistons
750 f1 clutch.

The pantah motor is extremely versatile !!!!

There are three identical looking clutch covers but with different pistons sizes. (26mm, 28mm, 31mm). Also some have the O-ring on the piston, the others in a groove in the cylinder.
The F1 clutch cover has a larger diameter bore than the paso for the piston,hence it requires more fluid from the master cylinder to operate.

I was warned that people have had trouble with incorrect clutch activation,by not using the matching master cyld.
Different clutch pumps and slave pistons can be combined. Of course not every combination will work the same. A larger slave cylinder piston will reduce the force required to pull the clutch lever. (see all aftermarket clutch slaves for later Ducatis). This guy made an interesting table:

I wonder if the cracking alloy drums are because of the material used or if they are a result of incorrect torque which is usually the reason of cracked rotors.

The only difference is that the Paso clutch basket is 4mm deeper.
As other than that the baskets are identical I would assume it would be easy for a manufacturer of aftermarket Ducati clutches to design and make a basket fitting the Pantah engine but as with so many other parts the sales volumes were probably so low they wouldn`t have any interest.
I`d love a 48 tooth clutch basket :)

very interesting!!

I wonder if the basked could be fitted taking off a couple of discs and making the slave piston "pin" a little bit thicker to compensate for the 4mm missing.

somehow I have the feeling it could be done.

I have to take my clutch apart and play "doctor Frankenstein" !!!!!!!

according to the table in the above link,there are issues with the larger diameter slave cyls.

there was a VeeTwoo clutch basket on ebay but you don`t read your pms ... Maybe you`ve seen it though.

Unfortunately I missed it, I was travelling abroa ad despite being organized with tablet, laptop and last generation 4G mobile "phablet" the only thing missing was decent internet connection :mad: :mad:

so I missed the VEETWO auction.

Anyway, before purchasing anything I first want to check the conditoion of my clutch, it was fitted when we assembled the engine, but it was not new and I dont remember the pline time I have on my cluuch drum, so beforre taking any decisions first I need to know what is the situation there.

I will keep the thread updated, might be of interest for someone else.

Thanks G, those are very interesting.

I still need to find out if my drum's spline, in any event these baskets lookk nice although they are not lightened.

In the meantime I also got in touch with a UK company, Sigma performance, they have basket one on the shelf, but before I decide what to do I would really like to take mine off and see its condition.
