Can anyone help med with the rubber cover for the belts. It is the one for the horizontal cylinder.

I had to rebuild mine as it was cracked around where the screws go in . I would have a look at the later model 2 valve motors , I aint sure ( G probly knows ) but I would think that the later SS motors would have the same piece on them and it may be available under a different part #

I have a order pending at them, but they are not able to get it. Have also tried Stein Dinze but no luck.

I will try to look at the other models to see if they could fit - thanks.

it's the same part on all the 904/944 engines - SS, Monster, ST2

I have ordered this and will try a small modification. I will report back if it works...

On further investigation I have to concede that your right
The Monster and SS models use that cap, part no 235.1008.1A
The 906, 907 and ST2 use the cap without the tongue, it's part no. is 235.1006.1A
The ST2 part should be readily available.
