Help finding a couple parts

I am in the process of rebuilding my 1990 750 sport and it has cracks in the rubber belt covers. (pics) Anyone know where I can purchase a set or any other models that will fit.

You could try Gowanlochs in Australia if same as89 900 ss as I had a price off him last year on those I think

I looked into this a while ago as mine are the same. I think what happens is the cover screw ( repeatedly ) seizes in the metal( brass ? ) insert in the housing and the whole housing is deformed and eventually splits when someone leans on the screw to get it out . I seem to remember that there were some cool carbon fibre after market jobs for one of the 2 valve monster engines..................ebay maybe ?

put a bit of moly lube on those bolts when you put them in to keep them from seizing up. or the copper anti-seize paste. That's why many old race bikes had copper plated fasteners. But zinc plate works well too. So if you change out those bolts to stainless, you need to add an anti-seize compound.

of course that is in this case. Not if a stainless bolt is being put into aluminium like the engine case.

You should be able to get those parts from your local Ducati dealership. Just let them know the part numbers.

Also as you will have to remove the pulleys, I would change those locking nuts with the new type (70350062A). The old type is known to sometimes come loose.
