Replacement Exhaust Cans for 907IE
Replacement Exhaust Cans for 907IE
Can anyone give me any details of exhaust silencers that would do for my 907 and where I can get them from?.I have recently bought a mint 907 from a Ducati enthusiast in the northwest of England. The only problem is the cans are not stamped at all and are very loud(great noise but too loud).
Do I need any CPU unit for replacement items bought.
Thanks Timbo

Welcome,
if I've well understood, you want to change the exhaust because yours mufflers are too much loud.
Do you have the OEM exhaust?
It's a first time that I feel that someone would want to close a Ducati exhaust system.
Therefore, you need to change the ECU setting, as you can read on the topic "mufflers", started by me.
As tell the friend Finnpaso, you need of a FIM chip for ECU.
Ciao.

If you are prepared to go to the trouble and expense of importing cans from this part of the world, I would strongly reccommend also:

Timbo, can U take foto of Your mufflers, so propably we can say, what You need to do? If Your 907 is tuned to those open mufflers, its only more fuel, what she uses if U change to close ones, and no worried about burned exhaust, but if U have resistive ones and change to open ones, then NEED MORE fuel to add with air, that exhaust valves dont burn....

This firm make some very good race cans of which some have been fitted to Ducati's. There are some pictures on the website which might help you identify if they match yours...
