Re: fairing fasteners
I bought 6mm aluminium black anodised screws ...with the big heads off an outfit we have ( had?) in NZ called Eurobike years ago . I think quite a few bike makers use similar . One thing I do when looking for bike parts is to go to the loval bike shops and have a look at what the new bikes are using...

Re: Sprocket carrier bearing removal
Cool . Be aware that sprocket bolts are well known to come loose and carve a chunk out of your swing arm . You may think you'd notice as soon as a bolt makes contact but apparently not , seems peeps usually dont and ride along oblivious to the carnage going on untill they are stopped and actually se...

Re: Sprocket carrier bearing removal
Depends on wether your wanting to fit new bearings or refit the old ones . If your fitting new you could just drive the old ones out with a punch and discard . If you want to re-use then you need to be a bit more careful and use either a bearing puller or a press . If you heat the carrier with some ...

Re: bit of a disaster..
If your going to get it welded make sure the welder is smart enough to only do a wee bit at a time coz the last thing you want is the swing arm distorting from heat if someone welds it all in one go

Your not the only one to suffer this .....by far . I think given the frequency of this event giving some attention to these nuts should be a regular thing. Id be a starter for lock wiring them .
