Winding the Speedo forward
I've got a White 750 that was exported to then imported from Arizona, now it lives in New Zealand (We drive on the left side of the road, & use Kilometres for speed measurement) To avoid getting speeding tickets etc.. I bought a "european dashboard" in Klm's, to be honest if I can, I'd...

Re: Oil Thermostat?
What's wrong with just putting a rag in the oil airflow till the oil heats up, I thought my Paso oil guage wasn't working properly till I figured this out, otherwise it takes forever (maby 20KLM) before it comes up. which can't be good for it doing all that milage and not being hot enough, oil exper...

Re: Taking care of a mature but still very charming lady
Tamburini was so far ahead of his time (and everyone else) the Paso was the first bike he designed after leaving BiMoTa, kind of a mass produced DB1 if you like, he took the Taglioni Pantah 2 motor and built a bike around that.. You got to love them, two of Italy's most famous genius engineers drive...

Hi I have an American white Paso 750, imported from Arizona, I'm looking to solve the headlight problem, americans drive on the other side of the road from us, my headlight is oriented to provide good brightness on the right side of the road, which in NZ glares into the eyes of on coming traffic, I ...

That got me converted to Lithium Batts, lets face it th...
Re: Batteries
I've got a 1988 Paso LTD, I had a charging issue which I fixed, I installed a voltage monitor that's used for solar panels so I could tell voltage in & voltage out, it works really well, I've got two voltage meters one on the battery and one from the generator, you can watch the whole thing char...

Re: Fuel Changes in the GB and Northern Ireland.
Hi, I run a White 1988 750 LTD in New Zealand, here we have a fuel company that imports from Singapore & the big four BP, Caltex, Shell & Mobil they are all owners in a refinery, in reality are all just retailing the same product. The independent company Gull that imports from Singapore has ...

Re: spacer between airbox and velocity stacks necessary?
Think of the air going into your engine as balls of air that stimulate the carb to integrate the correct amount of fuel into the manifold, a smooth suck across the jet. What the spacer does is manage that ball of air so it's compact and even, if you take the spacers out, the ball of air will be crea...

Re: The Story of the Paso Limited
I've got a white limited with the original clear coat over the "limited" sticker, 24k miles, and in almost mint condition. sold out of Arizona and into New Zealand, (now it's at home on the lonely twisty roads) .. It has Mukini carbs and Kokusan electrics, it has the american tail light wi...

Re: engine dropping onto 1 cylinder
My 750 Ltd did that although the last time it went on 1 cylinder it stayed on one cylinder and I had a 20klm very slow gentle ride home. It turned out to be one of the pickups which I replaced and off she went again happy as. My thoughts from your explain would be a loose wire somewhere, so follow b...

Re: Rear Axle at 6 O'clock or 12 O'clock
I think it's more important to be comfortable with managing your Paso than the mini handling differences you'll get from 6 or 12 o'clock. So if you're tall go for 6 o'clock or if you're short 12 o'clock, like I did and it made a huge difference when stopping, low speed, getting on etc.. I dropped th...

Ignition pickups ?
My 1988 White Limited Paso #754059 started running on one cylinder the other day, on the way back from a 40klm ride to get an ice cream through classic North Auckland back country twisty bush clad roads with no-one else on them ... every time I stopped the motor would cool down and it would go again...
