Online parts are out of stock!

Mine were back-ordered, they are currently working directly with Michelin to restock. I'm on their distro and will keep you posted on availability.

Great news....Motorcycle Superstore has the rear in stock now with free shipping (US). Here's their link:

http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/it ... ivision=6#

$136.99 + $5 processing fee.

$141.99 shipped....not bad.

Now I need a front tire. I heard that the 130/70 ZR16 Michelin Pilot Sport or 130/70 ZR16 Bridgestone BT56 would be a good choice because the bike handles better. I know that I have to raise the front fairing.

I'm thinking about going with the 130/70 ZR16 Michelin so the back and front are from the same manufacture.

Any thoughts..... Is this going to work / is this a good idea?

front tires are more available as other bikes use them. i would not put higher profile on front because the geometry of the bike is upset. (see my earlier posting) thanks for contact.

I'm having a hard time finding the front tire, they are sold out everywhere. That's when I found this link posted by 750pheonix:

According to the link the Paso handles better and I heard it's easier to put the bike on the center stand with a front 130/70-16 and stock 160/60-16. I just did a search on tyres on this message board and noticed that there are several people running this configuration. I guess if I can't find the stock 130/60-16 I am going to go with the 130/70 ZR16 Michelin Pilot Sport or the 130/70 ZR16 Bridgestone BT56.

Just wondering if anyone has tried both tires and which one they prefer?

Rova,

Ask superstore if they accept payment via PayPal, if so just get yourself an account, it's very simple.
Recevied my new tyres the week before last and had them fitted during the week. Just did 270km on Sunday morning, what a transformation. The old tyres were worn (the wear bars on the rear were just showing), but I did not think it would make such a difference. There was one particular corner which used to be a worry, it is a bumpy right hander on quite a steep downhill, the front always felt like it wanted to tuck in and pitch you over the bars. Not any more, straight around, no tendency to tuck in, felt really secure.
Have you tried http://www.motorace.com/

Smitty, just ordered a front from ridenow.com, http://www.ridenow.com/product/detail/AM59X.aspx They had seven left after I ordered mine! Git-r-done! If anyone else needs a rear, I have quite a stock of them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 508&rd=1,1
