Freeplay front sprocket?

Post by Tamburinifan »

Is there any freeplay for the front sprocket to wiggle a little on the shaft?

Yes there is. The sprocket is a slip fit and the keeper holds it in place.

... and drill the two screws for lock wire while you have them out ...

... and install a "Desmo Times Case Saver Insert" from http://desmotimes.com/

Speaking of front sprockets, I just ordered a 14T front sprocket from Demo Times. The new sprocket has all the spacing on one side while the stock sprocket has a equal shoulder on both sides. I am worried about chain alignment . What are you guys doing??
