The standard cast iron front discs (750 & 906) are prone to cracking so they must be checked over periodically. What are these new discs made from, is it Cast Iron again? With the lack of vent holes I am guessing it is.

My guess is that they are made of stainless, but i'll see when they arrive. who still makes cast iron discs today? I've since found that EBC also make replacement discs for the paso/sport.

they are stainless steel.
the EBC number is MD630LS & MD630RS (left and right). The rear is MD631

EBC have a high Stainless content - they stop ok though but they seem to have designed a disc that is rubbish with anything but their own pads !
I've used them for years on a variety of bikes

just copying "MD630LS" into Google shows i.e. $228ea. in a US shop or 230GBP (the pair) in a UK shop (which is a lot less). Guess it`s worth do do some searching and comparing prices.

Hey all
Why not look at this option, fairly cheap, look like original setup from Germany. 139,80 Euro /disc, front and 109,77 Euro / disc rear.

What's the manufacturer?
I would never fit a brakes' component from an unknown manufacturer.

Hi all
I think you're right there -looks like original ones. You can ask them if you want to know more.

finnpaso -I think I will shovel some more snow from my showroom where I keep my Hailwood Replica, 750 Paso, R 100 RS and Superglide. There's 'bout 750 cm snow at the most on that roof. Then I think I will continue restoring M1R fork to my 906. I had a plan to finish the restoring of my latest paso ( 906 ) before christmas but have been occupied with snow for about a week now.
The i probably will drink huge amounts of GLÖGG ( spiced up Wine with a touch of booze and heated up )
Happy new paso year to ya all.
