The nearly vertical line at approx. 3300 rpm just means, that the measuring starte there with opening the throttle.
It means nothing.

Re: How many Horsepower
the way I read it is, someone is twisting the throttle but for some reason not much is happening at the rear wheel untill 3300...JoKing wrote:The nearly vertical line at approx. 3300 rpm just means, that the measuring starte there with opening the throttle.

thats what the dyno is for, to see how the motor behaves through the rev range,
on the same graph, the red line is much better, smoother power delivery from 2500,
Cheers Claude.

Re: How many Horsepower
I understand how you read the graph.
But in the lower region there, it is not correct. It is just the start of the run, where you open the throttle.

Re: How many Horsepower
I agree with JoKing.
it's just a bad start of the graph.
when you follow the rev. axis from the start you find two values as the graph leans back and than start to climb.
the tester released the clutch, the enbgine dropped a few revs and starts pulling.
So, as JoKing said: meaningless
