They should fit straight in but you will need to completely re-shim all the clearances.

And how to connect the tachometer cable? Or do you have a electronic Instrument?

I was told, only last week, by a friend who is working on a 900SS project bike that the worm gear on the camshaft is simply an interference fit. So it could presumably be removed from the 907 camshaft and transferred to the ST2 one.

I know it from the SPS cams, they has to be modyfied by machining to fit the interface.
This was done on my 888 with 996SPS engine

Hi,
I just got a pair for my 907, I can say that they are a perfect fit. The problem is to get them for an acceptable price if you don't want to buy them new for about 700€ (prive in Germany)
Good luck !

I asked them for a ST3 camshaft conversion to mechanical tach attachment for 907. They said they won`t do for a std.-price, it would be a prototype w. all costs that are coming with this fact...

more overlap in the timing = more power on the high end of the rpm band
