I don't have a chip available but should have the mapping as a file. If you can find someone that can burn eproms, I can mail you the file so you have an eprom made.
A few years ago the eproms were still available from Ducati. Can't imagine it is a fast moving part, so perhaps your lucky there. Price was quite decent.
If you still have no ECU let me know, a friend of mine in the UK (from the Cagiva Elefant brotherhood) that fiddles a lot with these bikes might have 1 or 2 available.

I don't suppose you have checked the outputs from the magnetic pickups for TDC and RPM? I just pulled the plug on both these, and there is more chance of a Christmas card from the ex spouse than the 907 starting if these are U/S. I don't have the Multimeter here at the moment, so can't tell you what sort of resistance or voltage these should give out. They should be a coil (magnet on the flywheel I'm guessing?), so when the magnet passes, it gives a voltage, probably in the order of mV's. As a guess, coil resistance would be around 30 ohm. Pull the plug on the ECU and measure resistance between pins 3 and 4 (back into the wiring loom) and you should see the RPM sensor and pins 5 and 23 for the TDC sensor. Disconnect the battery as a precaution too (I'm a bit of a chicken when playing with Micro's!).

Recently saw some modified chips for a 907 with open mufflers on USA Ebay, for a too high prize for me. Perhaps you could find it there, were the last 10 or 12 pcs from that modification company. In house programmed. . . . . .

I pulled the connector from the coil and had good power through the initial turn on and when hitting the start button, So if power is there and the coils are new, you think it is another problem that would not allow spark to happen? I will check into this, but that is kind of odd. Thanks for the info I will look deeper.

if the power does not drop of, the coils are not suspected, but the components "upstream" are.
Swapping parts with known functional ones is an option to isolate the defect.
you need a friendly donor, that's all.

Which side of the Coil are you getting 12V. The Primary or the Secondary?
If you want to check the TDC and RPM pickups, they are cable tied to the frame behind the LHS side cover. On my 907, 1 connector is a white 2 pin, the other is a black 2 pin. Pull these plugs apart and you should see some resistance on a Multimeter looking into the pickup.
Just had a thought. Has any work been done on these pickups in the past. If you are not the original owner, maybe by a previous? I can't remember off the top of my head, but they probably have the same connector on the sensor side of things. They may have been crossed over at some stage? (Black to White etc). I doubt the bike would start if they were crossed. You never know your luck?

There is a P8 computer being offered in the Netherlands, price 200 Euro. Sounds not too unacceptable.
