Control unit does not work

Post by hardo »

Dear all

Unfortunately, my control unit seems to have stopped working. I found an original part online at ebay —at a crazy price of 700 USD.

https://motorradteilehannover.de/Ducati ... gKiW_D_BwE

Is there an alternative? I would assume that this part was not only used for this model. Perhaps it was also used in cars from that era (Fiat?). I would be very grateful for any information.

Thank you!

Best, Hans

Hi there,

you could of course see if Rudy has one. Another option would be https://www.carmo.nl/index.php?main_pag ... anguage=de to check and repair yours. They also sell their updated version https://www.carmo.nl/index.php?main_pag ... ts_id=1738

assuming your issue is the fuel pump prime ground missing it is easily repaired. Any ecu repair house can do it or with some deep diving around here you can diy it

I replaced mine with an ignitech unit when the bike started to run on only one cylinder, advantage of this was it can be programmed, although never felt the need on the paso, just run it with the standard programme, also fitted one to a 06 bonneville, personally can recommend them for service value and reliability
