Thermostat
My buggered thermostat was due to a broken plastic thermostat pin retainer. I made a new one out of metal rod, put the thermostat back together, and it worked again! However, I'd already bought an Aprilia 1000 thermostat. It has a smaller, straight by-pass outlet, unlike the Paso one, so I fitted a 90 degree reducer pipe. It all fitted together and it works!

Great you were able to get the OE back working.Nominalisation wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2026 11:28 pm My buggered thermostat was due to a broken plastic thermostat pin retainer.
Post up some pics and part numbers if you can of the Aprilia parts. Might help out another owner that isn’t as lucky.
