Can all of you interested supply me with the chip make and number for all of the 907 chips you are using? Want to make sure no one gets left out. I need the original manufacturer number. And if you have a copy protection chip as well I need that info as well, as detailed as is possible gentlemen. Pins, window or no window and remember a picture is worth a thousand words  You can move the sticker off the window if your need to get the PD number but include the sticker in your pic.....in natural sunlight and under most artificial light iit would take months to erase your chip so don't worry DO KEEP IT AWAY FROM GRO LIGHTS!!!!! if you have the window type chip
Feel free to PM me if you prefer even if you prefer to keep it off site.We can exchange email addy

As You Frankie know very well, all bikes have little different setups, so "thing" (to make 100% perfect chip/eprom) is not so simple like "to burn good eprom to fit all bikes"... :)

Antti
Not looking to remap every bike on the planet,I have neither the time nor the inclination. Just interested in a few select Paso's for a few interested DIY Ducatista from time to time.
What I do want to do is provide an affordable setup for all here that have an interest in keeping their Paso running in tip top shape. So I need details on the different chips those that are interested
have so that the setup I reccomend is able to read and write to the maybe dozen different chips in the Paso's and Sports out there. It just ain't that complicated. On the non fuel injected bikes the only
mapping is the vacuum and the timing. I know it could be a big plus to the weber to quicken up the timing response to the vacuum signal. On the fuel injected bikes it is only slightly more complicated, but
fuel mapping on on such a simple system is still not that complicated. I really don't understand your resistance. It is futile! My friend

Antti is right, but I'm with Higgy.
I don't have neither the skill nor the inclination to do such work by myself.
So, I could do huge mistakes trying to setup the bike.
I'd prefer to have the better even if it's not the best.

If you think so, you are wrong, as i dont resist at all your project. I only wanted to say what i am thinking about this "thing". Still i am thinking that every 907 need little different mapping, so any "universal chip"(average chip) is not the best if you want best performance... but if looking "something good" it can be good choise to know data of all 907ie chips , compare data and make choise and burn chip...and test.. and test and maybe burn another chip and test..... this is such thing, that if really want to know then it takes time and tests and good equipments and that "knowing".... sometimes all goes well and other time its big wet swamp.... also often "more knowing means more suffering" anyway i wish good luck to your project and keep us updated what you have found...

I have two *.obj files that someone from the UK sent me. I know one is basically richer which is what I wanted. I'm using this chip in my
907 now. It was used as the base map when I had my engine rebuilt and they "dialed" the engine in on a dyno and it worked out very
well. Also if you look at the earlier pages of this post, you will see a picture of the chip Ducati used from the factory. I'm talking about the chip
it self, the brand name and type. I have all the literature and specifications for that chip that I can e-mail you. Now this information is for the basic chip, the pin arrangements, voltage
and so on. The *.obj files are the actual program that has to be "burned" onto the chip with a programing board. If you are interested
in any of this let me know.

Prograle.org is online now. Some interesting stuff there on decoding motorola chips. Not the chip we need but interesting none the less

Higgy I know nothing of this as it looks way too technical for me - but I'm interested to learn, as my bike is in a hundred pieces at the momment I will open and photograph my box, I will be slotting a different engine with the original fueling system inplace into mine so I will be needing to get the bike set up correctly ( I know a man who can ) so this could be very useful for me to follow.
