Mmmm I could only find round ones too . That float looks a bit special with the dimples .... possibly to clear jets in the bowl.

Sorry for my stupidity i was reading numbers from plate on the side of the frame on frame neck it's stamped ZDM 750P * 751066
Re: Ducati Paso 750 complete restoration
Yup, float looks the same from one of the two webers I have.
Re: Ducati Paso 750 complete restoration
Picture of the finishec bike. Took it for the test ride and first 150km everything was great and than i started losing one cylinder. First outing of one cylinder was short but it became longer and longer. This was happening across all rpm range. When second cylinder came back to life it was running ok. So i think it is not ful but rather electrical problem. where to start? what is most common problem.

Check voltage at the ignition coils. My Paso was only showing around 10-10.5 volts at the coils. I wired in a relay for full power from the battery. Check the Technical FAQs page for a schematic.

Re: Ducati Paso 750 complete restoration
I had similar problems with my 906 which has the same weber carb. Right after I replaced a lot of part of the weber using a rebuild kit it ran really well for a couple of 100 kms. Then I started to loose one cylinder so , like you, I was convinced it was a electrical issue. After replacing a lot of parts it turned out that some dust from the new gaskets that I had replaced clogged the carb. After a good clean of the carb it then started running fine again.

Re: Ducati Paso 750 complete restoration
So I left Paso sitting for few day and here we go again. Carburetor float didn't closed the fuel and i have engine full of fuel.
I drained the oil. And maybe it's not electric. What is correct float height because I'm finding two different values on the internet. Also interesting thing is that float was closing fuel correctly before for at least a month.

Re: Ducati Paso 750 complete restoration
level with the top of the card as you hold it upside down. It is possible for these floats to get saturated with fuel as they get older keeping them from closing.
