Re: Which bearing type for swingarm?

Oops! The others were on the previous page! I can see also some were not part numbers but sizes for the bearings. Let's try again: 764000001: 32mm OD x 25mm ID x 18mm L needle bearing 041202295: 32mm x 25mm x 4mm seal 751632054: #630004 2RS1C3 075549265: 26mm x 20mm x 4mm seal 764000002: 26mm OD x 2...

Re: Which bearing type for swingarm?

The numbers I retrieved from my swing arm are as follows:
075549265: 26mm x 20mm x 4mm seal
764000002: 260D 201D 18L bearing

Sorry I don't have the others...

Re: WTB (USA): 907ie speedo cable, handgrips, throttlelock

Did the cable arrive yet? I need one as well and the parts book shows them reversed in position. I want to make sure I am ordering a speedo cable and not a tach cable. My intention is to order #40310011A...

Thanks for the tip on the lower bushing. Looking forward to knowing if it is the equivalent to Ducati OEM like the upper one is.

Re: Will 906 contis fit a 907??

I have a set of Contis that are very similar to the old 750 GT style on my 907. They were intended for the 906 and fit my 907 with a little fiddling. The mounting bracket was very close to the swing arm and the pipes had to be "adjusted" to fit properly. 1-1/2 hrs approx.

Re: Radiator coolant container

Antzo,
Your best bet is to have it "plastic welded" by a specialist. Even leaking ones sell for too much on ebay. The cost of repair is very reasonable and reliable if done by the right person. There is no glue that will permanently repair the tank.

Re: Couple of questions

Gene, The hole for the reset knob goes on the left. The turn flasher requires a minimum load to flash correctly. Mine has a pair of 21 W bulbs per side - one at the front, and one at the rear. The tail lamps are type 1157 I believe, which means they serve as tail and stop. The tail and stop circuits...

Re: bad respone while getting warm

ynot, Remove the connector from the ECU and measure the resistance between pin #29 and pin #11 on the wire harness side (not the ECU side). You should get approximately 3000 - 4000 ohms between these two pins depending on the temperature when you are measuring it. This is the signal from the coolant...

Re: Rubber inserts?

The ones on the side of the tank where the side covers fit are quite different from the ones where the tank mounts to the frame under the seat. Do you need measurements of these? Which ones?

Re: 907 choke lever assembly needed

I have used the current model of the Domino choke lever as supplied originally on the 907: http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/ac130/pasolloyd/1991%20907ie/ducatipaso_org/2903-86.jpg The only diference is that you need longer screws for mounting to the clutch master cyl than the stock lever and it ac...

Re: Guide bushings on 907 ie M1R forks

Just to re-iterate should there be any questions about the validity of the part numbers I have quoted in these posts. The parts described as sourced from BMW are not "like" or "similar to" or "kind of fit" substitutes. They are EXACT equivalents to the parts in the 907 ...

Re: BMW K1100LT fork seal vs MR-1 907IE

The BMW part numbers that I quoted in my post are EXACT replacements for the 907ie. They are made by Marzocchi and have the same Marzocchi part number molded into the rubber. You have the wrong seal from BMW. Check the part numbers in the post again.

Re: My '91 907ie is complete!

Lloyd, despite the fact it seems you`re missing one center stand spring, where did you find the reflectors for the fork ? The missing rubber cover for the swingarm axle is the same as the one on the upper triple tree btw. Very nice, clean bike. G. When you mentioned the missing spring, I almost ran...
